was filming a wedding ceremony some days back. it was a first time for me, to be involved in a non-chinese ceremony.. in a drama of course.

it was really interesting, to see the whole ceremony being carried out the way it should be. sometimes it's really nice to come into contact with the racial differences in the way we do things.. it makes life so much more colorful.

marriage boils down to the life long commitment between two people. ceremonies may vary, but the symbolism is in the union of a couple. i know of people whose marriage lasted their lifetime, and some only a few years. some who didn't make it through to walking down the aisle, and some who treat it merely as child's play.

till now, it never fails to warm my heart when i see elderly couples walking hand in hand. it's the kind of love that's weathered "for better or for worse" that's precious.
