i was dragged to watch "I am Legend" with my friend. i'm not a big fan of horror or thriller movies. in fact, i'm not a fan of it at all. i don't see the sense in paying for a movie to scare myself. my friend wanted to watch it badly and was starting to use emotional blackmail on me.. so i went.
verdict: it's not my cup of tea.
the only consolation is that it's not as scary as some other horror movies. however, my god-daughter who watched it too, laughed and exclaimed loudly "he is so stupid! i knew there was a trap in the water! i knew it! i knew it!" and "why can't he spend his time learning to fly the plane so he can escape?" she's just about 2yrs plus, but she was the one telling me.. "it's just a movie!"
this makes me a little embarrassed. being aware of computer graphics and the use of shots and music and suspense, i still need a baby girl to tell me "it's just a movie" to calm my nerves.
