as promised, here are some photos of my filming in china. it was a good experience, something totally different. and as most of you may know, i've always wanted to try out period drama, so i really cherish this opportunity.
it was different in terms of style and tempo. i felt like a new actress all over again. that is a feeling that i kind of like. simply because it meant i could start from zero, and learn a whole new set of skills. i'm still learning, in fact, we never stop learning in life. every new project starts from zero for me, because i want to give it my all.
strangely enough, i believe there were a few individuals who were worried i wouldn't be able to adapt to the conditions over there. but honestly.. i loved it. i love the slower pace of life.. i love the simplicity.. i love the focus.. i don't like how we rush through life all the time, going through our to-do lists everyday and how we're competing to run our errands before the sun sets. have we even forgotten how beautiful the setting sun looks?
well, of course it wasn't a bed of roses.. i can't take the cold too well. especially when my clothes aren't exactly multi-layered (contrary to popular belief of what period drama costumes are like). heat packs are my life-saver! i had the electric heat packs too, 2 to be exact

fruits are a must for me. thank goodness for its variety there!
there's my "pantry" corner. my tea, honey, and a bottle of vitamin C. i drank about 6 bottles of water during my 2 months stay there.
simple - it's a wonderful feeling.
